Wind Power

Wind power is extracted from air flow using wind turbines to produce mechanical or electrical power. Windmill is used for its mechanical power. Wind power is clean and renewable which produce no green house gas emissions.

We installed a windmill on the top of Dennis Hall, and collected the energy generated from the windmill.

Following are some statistic data collected by GWEC (Global Wind Energy Council) which indicate the quick increment of wind power installation. From those data, we could see a significant increase of wind capacity in 2014. And among 6 regions, Asian has the fastest growing in new installed wind capacity.
